Workshop on Initiation of Social Dialogue held

Prizren, November 23. Workshop on initiation of social dialogue between “Haziz Tola” primary and lower secondary school, Center for Social Work (CSW) and Kosovo Police was held.

This one-day workshop aimed at early prevention of school violence, coordinating joint actions and providing services in dealing with cases of violence and other phenomena at school.

In addition to presenting the achievements by the school and other institutions present, many challenges faced by the school and the very institutions, when it comes to raising awareness on prevention and reporting of cases of school violence and the provision of joint and timely services, were highlighted.

School representatives - teachers, students, parents as well as officials from the CSW and Police agreed that better communication between them should take place and that there should be as many joint activities between them as possible in order to raise community awareness on identifying and preventing violence.

The workshop was organized by the School Steering Council in the framework of implementation of the SSC work plan, developed and supported under the “Together for the Rights of the Child” program, which is being implemented for several years now by Syri i Vizionit organization in partnership with Save the Children in Kosovo.
