Pejë, December 16 - Exhibition with the works of lower secondary primary schools of the municipality of Pejë has been closed. The exhibition aimed at promoting and advocating for the career orientation subject, namely the talent, interest, desires, preferences of students towards further education, selection of occupation and career.

Students from the schools have expressed all of these through art and essays, while today, Monday, the announcement of the winning schools has also been made - whose students managed to collect maximum points in painting and career orientation essays.

The commission composed of the Municipal Directorate of Education, NGO Syri i Vizionit and Solidar Suisse selected the eight winning schools of this exhibition and they are: “Asdreni”, Dardania” “Lidhja e Prizrenit”, “28 Nëntori”, “Skënder Çeku”, “Sami Frashëri”, “7 Shtatori” and “Xhemail Kada”.

Each of these schools were donated a check with a symbolic amount of money that can be used to purchase necessary school material.

In addition to expressing their gratitude to schools for their work and commitment in developing the career orientation subject, MED representatives, Solidar Suisse and Syri i Vizionit also pledged to continue working in this area together with schools in order to make it easier for children in the municipality of Pejë to select their area of education and develop adequate labor market staff.

On the other hand, school directors, teachers and students thanked Syri i Vizionit, Solidar Suisse and MED for this opportunity. At the same time, they demanded that such exhibitions be organized more frequently as the schools and children need to exhibit their works to others, and not only within their own schools.

The “Career Orientation” exhibition was open for a week (December 09-13) and it has been implemented as part of the ProCareer project implemented by Syri i Vizionit with the financial support from Solidar Suisse in Kosovo.
