November 29, 2019, Pej\u00eb – As part of the “Prospect 3” project, Syri i Vizioni has organized a discussion table regarding cases of dropping out of school as a frequent phenomenon among the Roma, Egyptian and Ashkali communities in the locations where this project is being implemented.<\/p>\n

Officials from the Directorate of Education, school dropout prevention teams from “Xhemail Kada” Pej\u00eb and “7 Shtatori” Vitomirica schools, parents and students from the communities participated in this discussion table.<\/p>\n

During the meeting, the problems of both schools that lead to regular non-attendance or even dropping out of school were revealed, and at the same time, we came out of this table with measures and decisions that will be taken in the future to address the identified issues.<\/p>\n

The “Prospect 3” project aims to raise awareness and integrate the Roma, Egyptian and Ashkali communities in the right to education, health and employment. It is implemented by the organization Eye of Vision and KFOS and funded by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) and the Karl K\u00fcbel Stiftung f\u00fcr Kind und Familie (KKS).<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
