October 29, 2011- TACSO in cooperation with the NGO Syri i Vizioni have organized an informative session in order to support the civil society organizations of the region of Peja for the application to the call of the Liaison Office of the European Commission in Kosovo. Over 40 civil society organizations of the region participated in the information session which was held on October 29, 2011 at the Dukagjini Hotel in Pej\u00eb.<\/p>\n

The Liaison Office of the European Commission in Kosovo is looking for project proposals related to strengthening the role of civil society in promoting human rights and democratic reforms, preventing conflicts and supporting the consolidation of participation and political representation in Kosovo. This grant scheme is funded by the European Instrument for Democracy and Human Rights (EIDHR).<\/p>\n

The meeting held in Peja had the purpose of informing and raising the awareness of civil society organizations on the general conditions and requirements for the application process.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
