Peja, December 16 – The exhibition with the works of primary and secondary schools of the municipality of Peja has been concluded. The exhibition in question had the purpose of promoting and advocating for the subject of career orientation, namely the talent, interest, desires, preferences of the students regarding further education, the selection of the career profession.

All this, the students of these schools have expressed through art and essays, while today, Monday, the announcement of the winning schools was made – whose students have managed to collect the maximum points in painting and essays on the topic of career orientation .

The commission composed of the Municipal Directorate of Education, the NGO Syri i Vizioni and Solidar Suisse, have selected the eight winning schools of this exhibition and they are: “Asdreni”, Dardania” League of Prizren”, “28 Nëntori”, “Skënder Çeku” “, “Sami Frashëri”, “7 September” and “Xhemail Kada”.

All these schools have been given a check with a symbolic amount of money which can be used to purchase the necessary school material.

In addition to thanking the schools for their work and commitment in the development of the career guidance subject, representatives from DKA, Solidar Suisse and Syri i Vizioni have also pledged to continue working in this field together with the schools. so that children in the municipality of Peja have an easier time choosing their field of education and creating appropriate frameworks for the labor market.

On the other hand, school principals, teachers and students have thanked the organizations Syri i Vizioni, Solidar Suisse and DKA for this opportunity. At the same time, they have requested that such exhibitions be organized more often since schools and children need to exhibit the work they do in front of others and not only within their schools.

The “Career Orientation” exhibition was open for one week (December 9-13) and was realized within the ProCareer project, which is implemented by Syri i Vizioni with financial support from Solidar Suisse in Kosovo.
