Pristina, November 19 – The ROR Group (Respect Our Rights) is holding a series of activities on the International Day of the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child. Following the implementation of the Kosovo Children’s Resolution, approved last year, the ROR group today, in the presence of the deputies of the Kosovo Assembly, demanded direct responsibility from the Government of Kosovo regarding the implementation and applicability of this resolution. In the public hearing on the implementation of the Resolution on Children’s Rights approved on November 20, 2017 by the children themselves, they demanded an account for the unrealized promises in front of four ministers of the Government of Kosovo. With the motto “#Qabonetipërmu?”, during the week they also conducted a campaign with questions addressed to the Kosovar executive. On Monday, a press conference was held in front of the executive in which this message and the demands of the children were conveyed.
The ROR group has been monitoring the implementation of children’s rights for several years and was created by Syri i Vizioni with the support of Save the Children.
