Peja, Rugovë, March 16 – With financial support from ATRC/USAID Syri i Vizioni is holding a two-day forum with women assemblymen from the municipal councils of Peja, Istog, Junik and Decan. The meeting is part of the activities aimed at helping the empowerment of women in the region, supporting and encouraging the participation of women in managerial positions, namely finding the technical assistance needs of women’s assembly groups in the municipalities and supporting the improvement of policies and legislation about women’s empowerment. On the first day, the main speaker of the forum is Ismet Kryeziu from KDI and Demokracioa in action. The activity is part of the project Support for the support of women and continues tomorrow with speakers and other topics.
