Deçan, March 27- A public debate was held in the municipal assembly hall of Deçan with the citizens of this municipality, in which property issues and the problems they have in this municipality were discussed. Representatives from the Municipality of Deçan, the Basic Court and the institutions dealing with property problems have shown the citizens how these problems should be addressed until they are resolved. For one hour, they provided answers to the questions of the citizens, who presented their problems in the localities where they live, and requested information on the functioning of justice institutions.
The issues raised by them are related to disputes created by inheritance, inter-neighbor problems, sales and purchases that are not accompanied by relevant documentation, properties nationalized by the state during communism, usurped municipal properties, etc.
The meeting was organized within the framework of debates and public meetings that Syri i Vizioni organizes in the municipalities of the region of Peja, in the implementation of the project “Protect your property” with financial support from USIAD/ATRC.
