Istog – The non-governmental organization Syri i Vizioni and Democracy Plus have organized the public debate with citizens and candidates for mayor of the municipality of Istog for the municipal elections on October 17.
In the debate organized on October 7, the five candidates for mayor were invited, but only candidate Idriz Blakaj from Baskë for Istog (IBI) responded to the invitation for discussion.
In the debate, it was discussed about the priorities during the next mandate as well as the demands of the citizens that have been identified through the Forum for Citizen Dialogue in this municipality.
The candidate for the mayor of the municipality, Idriz Blakaj, has signed the commitment card and promises to work towards fulfilling the identified priorities.
This meeting was organized within the Forum for Citizen Dialogue, which is financed by the OlofPalme International Center, supported by Democracy Plus (D+), through the “Viewpoints for Local Elections 2021” project.
