Trainer in the field of monitoring and evaluation
The organization Syri i Vizioni (SiV) was officially registered as a local NGO in September 2001, but it started functioning earlier since 1999 as a Community Based Organization (CBO) in the Peja Region.
Throughout the last years, the NGO “Syri i Vizioni” has developed numerous partnerships with a wide spectrum of local and international organizations, municipalities and other active factors in Kosovo and the Balkans such as: European Commission, Save the Children in Kosovo, Olof Palme International Centre, Solidar Suisse, Volkshilfe Solidaritet, ADA, USAID, KEC, KFOS, DRC, CARE International, OSCE, etc.
General information
Syri i Vizioni, in partnership with Save the Children office in Kosovo, has been working for five years on programs on monitoring and protecting the rights of children in Kosovo, which aim to respect the International Convention on the Rights of Children, and strengthening the mechanisms to prevent violence, corporal punishment.
Within the thematic program in the field of child protection “Our Obligation to the Future – Protection of Children and Governance of Children’s Rights”, Eye of Vision will engage a trainer in the field of monitoring and evaluation, which has aimed at increasing the capacities of the SiV Organization in this field.
Purpose
Engagement of the trainer for the realization of the training for raising the capacities of the staff for the design of monitoring and evaluation instruments of the programs and of the organization in general.
Required qualification:
• Documentation of work experience in the provision of trainings and their realization related to the field of monitoring and evaluation;
• Training skills, capacity building, counseling and mentoring
• Excellent IT skills [Microsoft Office] and other statistical software,

Duties and Responsibilities:
The engaged coach is expected to:
• Develop training material and instruments in the field of monitoring and evaluation
• Prepare the necessary additional materials for the training, including the power-point presentation of the training, the agenda for the training, as well as the questionnaires before and after the training, in consultation with the responsible staff of SiV and Save the Children for review and prior approval;
• Submission of the draft document with instruments and methodology on monitoring and evaluation
• Submission of the final narrative report to SiV no later than five (5) working days after receiving possible comments from SiV and SCiK.

Engagement of the Trainer:
The trainer will be engaged through a service contract with Eye of Vision – under the coordination of the Finance and Administration Manager. In this contract, the points which are not included in this document will be specifically defined.
Tasks and duration:
Preparation of methodology and instruments in the field of monitoring and evaluation, including the agenda, questionnaires and other necessary materials.
Preparation and submission of the narrative report – and related documents
Payment Terms:
The trainer’s payment will be made according to the relevant invoice for the performance of services, which will be issued by the trainer, or will be prepared by SiV and will be signed by the Trainer. The payment will be made through a bank transaction in Euro currency. Payment will be made after successful completion of the training module and submission of the narrative report approved by SiV.
Based on Kosovo law, Syri i Vizioni is also obliged to pay tax (tax and pension) of 10% of the gross amount. The food expenses will be covered by the organizer.

Documents and procedures for application:
• Work methodology, including planning the process of developing training materials and holding training;
• Curriculum Vitae (CV).
• Financial proposal.
The financial offer must be detailed for each work that will be carried out, this must include the development of the module and training materials, the holding of trainings, the writing of the report and the development of the document with the instruments in the field of monitoring and evaluation.
