Facilitator for the drafting of material for a brochure on the establishment of student councils at school.
The organization Syri i Vizioni (SiV) was officially registered as a local NGO in September 2001, but it started functioning earlier since 1999 as a Community Based Organization (CBO) in the municipality of Peja.
Throughout the last years, the NGO “Syri i Vizioni” has developed numerous partnerships with a wide spectrum of local and international organizations, municipalities and other active factors in Kosovo and the Balkans such as: European Commission, Save the Children in Kosovo, Olof Palme International Centre, Solidar Suisse, Volkshilfe Solidaritet, ADA, USAID, KEC, KFOS, DRC, CARE International, OSCE, etc.
General information:
Syri i Vizioni, in partnership with Save the Children office in Kosovo, has been working for five years on programs on the monitoring and protection of children’s rights in Kosovo, aimed at respecting the International Convention on the Rights of the Child, in within which he has developed projects to strengthen the mechanisms for preventing violence, corporal punishment and reporting cases of violence in the schools of the municipalities of Pejë, Klinë, Prishtina, Prizren, Mitrovica, Ferizaj, Gjilan and Gjakovë.
Within the thematic program in the field of child protection “Our Obligation to the Future – Protection of Children and Governance of Children’s Rights”, work will be done on the prevention of violence and corporal punishment against children in any environment, the creation of mechanisms or child-friendly and reliable instruments to report cases of violence, as well as raising the awareness of institutions and the whole society about the Child Protection Law and reporting such cases.
An important part of the program is the direct involvement of children in decision-making and the respect of their rights based on the International Convention on the Rights of the Child and local laws.

Within this field, Syri i Vizioni seeks to engage a facilitator for the drafting of a material in the children’s language that deals with the choice of student councils in primary and lower secondary schools based on administrative guidance.
Purpose of the Facilitator’s Engagement
The purpose of the facilitator’s engagement is to design the material for the brochure in the children’s language based on the administrative instruction that concerns the establishment of student councils in primary and lower secondary schools.

Finalization of the material in the children’s language for the brochure that deals with the selection of student councils in primary and lower secondary schools in Kosovo.
Qualification and Contracting of the Facilitator
– University Degree in Law or Social Sciences or similar to these two professions
– Documentation of work experience in the design of promotional materials, brochures, flyers, etc
– Certificate in the relevant field and experience working with children will be an advantage
The Facilitator will be engaged through a service contract with Eye of Vision – under the coordination of the Finance and Administration Manager. In this contract, the points which are not included in this document will be specifically defined.
Duties and Responsibilities:
The engaged facilitator is expected to:
To consult the administrative instruction for the establishment or creation of student councils in primary and lower secondary schools
To draft and finalize the material for the brochure in the children’s language
To deliver Eye of Vision brochure material on time.
Engagement of the Facilitator:
The commitment will be made on a daily basis, which will include the following activities:
Tasks Duration:
Consultation of administrative instructions and other legal acts regarding the establishment of student councils in primary and lower secondary schools – 1 day
Finalization of the material for the brochure for the establishment of student councils in children’s language – 1 day
Total: 2 days
Payment Terms:
Payment of the facilitator will be made according to the relevant invoice for the performance of services;
Payment will be made through two bank transactions in Euro currency. The payment will be made after the end of the workshop and the submission of the work plan, as well as after the finalization of the material for the brochure.
The facilitator’s payment will compensate for the work performed in:

Based on Kosovo law, Syri i Vizioni is also obliged to pay tax (tax and pension) of 10% of the gross amount.
