The questions and answers submitted by those interested in applying for grants during the information session phase of the Grants for Local Economic Development in Istog:
1. Question: If the amount on the invoice is greater than the amount of the grant foreseen by the project, i.e. if the required car costs 7000 Euros, while the grant foresees 3500, can the joint payment be made? (from info session 16.10.2015)
Answer: It is allowed that the amount that can be added to the grant can be up to 55% of the invoice value, so the grant can be co-financed.

2. Question: Can I apply using the documents of the husband who has a business? (from info session 16.10.2015)
Answer: The husband must apply with his own business, and it is expected that the grant will result in the employment of the wife. So the wife cannot apply with the husband’s documents.

3. Question: Can grant money be spent on salaries?
We are a business from Istog and would like to apply to your call for grants for the local development of Istog. We need an additional clarification, which we could not understand during the presentation. Our question is this: in budget planning of 3500 euros per project, can the salary of a worker be included for the 6 months of project implementation, and after the end of the implementation of the project, the worker’s salary be paid by the business? (email 17.10.2015)
Answer: Within the project budget, the salary for workers can also be foreseen, as was mentioned during the information session. However, since the project aims to promote economic development, it is not preferred that the money be spent on salaries.

4. Question: Is it possible to apply with a business certificate of any family member (extended family). (question 27.10.2015)
Answer: Only the person who has a registered business can apply for the grant. So, it does not make it possible to apply with a business certificate of any other person, even if he is a family member.
