Deçan November 19-The Egyptian community and Ashakli in the village of Shaptej, municipality of Deçan, have been faced with a lack of water for years, making the life of this community even more difficult.

In order to solve this problem and provide water as a basic need for life to the residents of this village, the non-governmental organization “Syri i Vizioni” from Peja with the support of Olof Palme Center, within the project for the empowerment of the Roma, Egyptian and Ashkali communities , opened a well for water supply to the community.

The opening was made as an initiative and a necessary request from the community itself to create better conditions for the families of this community in this village.
