Dear civil society organizations, institutions, groups of active citizens!
The initiating group against the demolition of the school for the blind in Peja, consisting of the NGO Syri i Vizionit, the Association of the Blind of Kosovo and CBMK Xheladin Deda, on Friday started the campaign against the demolition of the building of the School for the Blind, Resource Center for Learning and Counseling “Xheladin Deda” through a media conference in which he expressed opposition to the plans for the demolition of this building for the needs of building a building for the Court of Peja.

We have asked the initiating parties, the Ministry of Social Welfare, the Ministry of Justice and the Ministry of Public Administration, together with the Municipality of Peja to give up this idea and look for another destination for the object in question, without having to destroy something that has value for Peja, to build something else.

The initiating group from the conference has distributed a call to all organizations, institutions and citizens to support this opposition in an organized manner until the initiators give up this project and find more adequate choices.

In the past two days, we have received support from many organizations, institutions and groups of active citizens, who have supported us in this goal and joined our initiative.

We invite you until Monday at 16.00, all of you who support us in this goal, to declare to the email info@syriivizionit.org and become an official part of this action.

All together we can do much more against destruction and for the preservation of values.
