Between June 9 and 11, the Eye of Vision organization held a three-day training in the field of public procurement. The training in question addressed the topics of municipal budgeting processing, procurement planning, supervision of the procurement process, social audit and audit reports.

The training was aimed at raising the knowledge of local council presidents in order to be able to supervise the public contracts of projects that are carried out in the locality that they represent, as well as the execution of works in the most appropriate way by the beneficiary companies. these projects.

30 heads of local councils from the municipalities of Rahovec and Gjakova benefited from this training, where the project “Active citizenship and responsible municipalities in Kosovo” is being implemented by the Eye of Vision organization in the municipalities of the regions of Peja and Prizren.

The non-governmental organizations Syri i Vizioni, Communication For Social Development, EC Ma Ndryshe and Democracy Plus have formed an alliance for the implementation of this program, which is financially supported by the Olof Palme International Center. It aims at the widest possible involvement and participation of citizens in decision-making.
