The purpose of the project: Improvement of rural living conditions and promotion of sustainable economic development in Western Kosovo. Also encouraging farmer organizations to develop innovative ideas and provide better services to their members.
Beneficiaries: In the business competition "The best farmer organization in Western Kosovo 2010", the direct beneficiaries are three farmer organizations that were declared winners by the jury, while the indirect beneficiaries are the members of the winning organizations.
Realization of the project: The farming organizations that were selected at the end of 2010 as winners in the business plan competition "The best farming organization in western Kosovo" as the best by the neutral jury of the competition were: Krusha Women's Association from Krusha e Vogël of Rahovec, the Farmers' Association "Krusha e Madhe" from Krusha e Madhe of Prizren and the Farmers' Association "Saturn" from Gjakova. During 2011, the organization SiV and SOLIDAR Suisse have monitored the implementation of the business plan by these three farmers' associations, but at the same time they have also provided assistance in the difficulties faced by these associations during the implementation of the business plans.

- "Krusha" Women's Association - Krusha Cooperative from the implementation of the business plan has managed to build a workshop for the processing of pepper products. In this workshop, the cooperative did the production of ajvar, its pasteurization and packaging. Until the pickled pepper is pasteurized and packaged. It has employed 12 female household heads, and in addition to these, it employs 13 more. During this year, it managed to produce 35,000 jars of pepper products
- The Krusha e Vogël women's association has managed to open the collection point in Has foreseen in the business plan. At this collection point, they accept and test the milk of the villagers with whom they received clothing, and there the association has hired a person. It has managed to increase the incomes of 20 farmer families in the Hasi region, enabling them to deliver and sell milk at this point.
- The Saturn association, with the realization of the business plan, has managed to increase the product of the members, protect the soil structure, reduce production costs, enable the application of crystal fertilizers, and increase the income of the members. The five members in which the association has invested together employ 26 workers, this number is greater during the season.
Project Title: Mismatch of the education system with the needs of the labor market in Kosovo

The purpose of the project: The purpose of this project is to research the state of (mis)adjustment of the directions that the secondary vocational schools of Peja have with the needs of the market in Kosovo, to promote the beginning of cooperation between vocational schools and business.
Beneficiaries: Beneficiaries of the project are six vocational schools in the city of Peja and the Directorate of Education in Peja, which will benefit from a complete research of the situation with recommendations, business and in a wider sense of all students of vocational schools.
Realization of the project: In this project, a research was done with a questionnaire for the businesses in the municipality of Peja, how qualified is the staff they hire, the ways they train the employees, etc. from which a report was drafted that was submitted to schools and institutions in a joint conference in which opportunities for improving the situation were sought and recommendations were issued.
Activities and Results:
• A research with over 120 enterprises of Peja for employment, staff and qualifications
• Creation of a database on enterprises, with preferred professions that are in deficit in the city of Peja
• The report on the findings of the "non-adjustment" of secondary vocational schools and the needs of the labor market

Project Title: Development of research and training of businesses and tourism stakeholders of the Peja belvedere circular path

The purpose of the project: The project is carried out within the broader project "Dukagjini and Rugova Valley Access Action Program" and aims to focus on the aspects related to the development of the belvedere ring road (Green Path) of Peja, in support of tourism and recreation in connection with the development of business and the development of local industries.
Beneficiaries: Beneficiaries are businesses and residents of the area crossed by the green circular path and all citizens and tourists from the municipality of Peja and other places in Kosovo who use the path for walking and recreation. The municipality of Peja is also a beneficiary, as from now on it will offer walking paths, cycling and various recreational sports to all citizens with very good conditions and infrastructure.
Realization of the project: In the framework of this project, a research was first done with the residents of the area where the belvedere path (green path) will pass, which includes the walking path, known as Te Kanali from Kapeshnica to the Third Kilometer in Grykë e Rugova . An analysis of the need for the existence and improvement of conditions along the existing path, conditions that must be met during the construction of this path and the demands of the residents and users of this path has been derived from the research. Direct meetings were held with the residents and businesses of the Kapeshnica, Zatra, Levoshë and Maja e Zeze areas, through which the ring road passes, in order to inform and involve them in the construction of the ring road. Before the construction of the ring road, a survey of the residents and businesses of these areas was conducted. From this research, the economic and production potentials of this area have been identified. From these results, we will undertake activities aimed at increasing local and traditional production potentials, as well as creative activities for the use of the ring road.
Activities and Results:
• The municipality of Peja is informed of the requirements and recommendations and the potential of businesses located along the belvedere ring road
• The community of the Kapeshnica, Zatra, Levoshë and Maja e Zezegjat areas have always been informed about the works that have been done in the construction of the path.
• The community of these areas has started to be active in the maintenance of the path and the provision of services in order to increase the attraction along the belvedere ring path (green path)
• Businesses along the ring road are more aware of the local products produced by the local community, and have begun to cooperate with the aim of mutual benefit and offering traditional products in their businesses.
Project Title: Strategy for the inclusion of the Serbian community through active civic participation

The purpose of the project: This project aims to empower and support the Serbian community in the municipality of Rahovec by developing a three-year action plan for the community in this municipality, which will be drawn up based on the needs expressed by the community itself, as well as the support and community empowerment and focus groups in Pejë, Klinë and Istog municipalities.
Beneficiaries: Direct beneficiaries of this project are the Serbian community of the municipality of Rahovec and the authority of the municipality-Office for communities that have a completed action plan for a three-year period, but have also benefited from training. Direct beneficiaries are also the communities of the neighborhoods and villages of Pejë, Klinë, Istog and Rahovec municipalities, which were directly involved in the implementation of joint initiatives which are supported by small grants within the project.
Realization of the project: With this project, a three-year action strategy for the Serbian community in the municipality of Rahovec has been drawn up. The project is also focused on empowering the community by holding various meetings and trainings in order to increase the capacities of the Serbian community. The project has also continued to support initiatives from the communities themselves, supporting 7 initiatives implemented by other community-based groups and organizations in the municipalities of Pejë, Istog, Klinë and Rahovec.
Activities and Results:
• Drafting of the action strategy for the Serbian community in the municipality of Rahovec.
• A research carried out with 20 percent of the families of the Serbian community in the Municipality of Rahovec about the condition of families and housing facilities.
• Existence of information on advantages, strengths, weaknesses and risks detailed by the community itself during focus group facilitations, information that will help in writing the action plan for the participation of the Serbian community.
• Better familiarization of the municipality with the existing problems of the REA community in their particular settlements and the creation of better cooperation between focus groups for joint actions
• Organization of trainings for strategic planning, drafting project proposals and evocation and lobbying for representatives of communities from villages and neighborhoods of the municipality of Rahovec as well as representatives of the municipality.

The purpose of the project: This project aims to create conditions for a more sustainable peace between young people from different communities through joint cultural sports and recreational activities.
Beneficiaries: The main beneficiaries are the young Albanians, Serbs, Roma, Egyptians, Bosniaks and Ashkali from the rural areas of the municipalities of Pejë, Kline and Istog, who through cultural and sports activities have had the opportunity to develop their talent in the specific field, but also to expand the society with young people from different communities as well as to get to know the experiences and activities that young people develop in other localities. They have also gained knowledge on how to organize themselves as an informal group, so that in the future they can be registered as a youth center or a cultural-artistic society, since during this project these young people have been able to visit the youth centers in Peja. Klin and Istog and in the organization of cultural events.
Realization of the project: The project is focused on activating young people in rural areas who are still treated as marginalized groups, as well as influencing the improvement of inter-ethnic relations among young people, eliminating language barriers and lack of contact between them. Within the framework of the project, exchange visits were held to these young people with the aim of exchanging good experiences among the young people of these villages. Also, visits were held by municipal officials, namely the Directorate for Culture, Youth and Sports, and on this occasion representatives from the municipality visited the youth in these villages, informed them about the activities of this Directorate and the possibility of their involvement in the activities, which are organized from them. Also, during the implementation of the project, a cultural event was organized with the aim of recognizing the cultural traditions of the communities. A football tournament was also organized in order to accompany these young people. The project enables the empowerment of these young people to be more active in Kosovar society.
Activities and Results:
• Informative activities about the project with the municipalities of Pejë, Klinë and Istog in order to identify groups of young people from all communities living in Kosovo.
• Realization of exchange visits between young people in order to increase cooperation and communication between municipalities.
• Realization of the football tournament in order to create better cooperation between the focus groups for joint actions
• Realization of a cultural manifestation with the aim of familiarizing young people with their values and traditions.
• Realization of focus group visits to Pejë, Klinë and Istog youth centers in order to learn about good experiences between formal and informal groups.
• The organization of a two-day camp attended by at least 30 young people who, in separate groups, worked on the common strategy based on their needs in order to deliver this strategy to local institutions and potential donors.
Project Title: Functionalization of the local bus line for the area of Rugova

Beneficiaries: Beneficiaries are the residents of the Rugova area and all citizens and tourists from the municipality of Peja and other parts of Kosovo use the travel opportunities from Peja to Bogë. Realization of the project:
In the framework of this project, a research was done with the residents of the area of Rugova and the residents of the area of the city in Peja, from which an analysis was drawn on the need for the existence of a bus line, the use of this line and the conditions that must be offered. • Functionalization of the Pejë-Bogë (Rugovo) bus line that will run at least twice a day and its registration as a regular line at the Bus Station

• Mobilization of the community of Rugova in the needs of the community related to transport, the determination of places for the construction of bus shelters

Project Title: Monitoring the implementation of the Law on Nature Protection

The purpose of the project: This project aims to monitor the implementation of the Law on the Protection of Nature and other legal acts issued by the Government and municipalities in the preservation and improvement of the state of nature in Kosovo.
Beneficiaries: Beneficiaries of this project are the Ministry of Environment and Spatial Planning, the Parliamentary Committee for Agriculture, Forestry, Rural Development and Environment (BPDM), municipalities and other interest groups, since through this project it will be achieved for the first time by its approval by the Assembly of Kosovo in 2010, to make an assessment of the implementation of this law in practice. The end of the project provides a report with recommendations, where the responsible will be told what each institution should undertake to implement the nature protection law in practice.
Realization of the project:
In this project, a general analysis has been made of what the municipal institutions have done according to the obligations arising from this law in the preservation of nature, as well as the commitment of the central institutions, specifically the Ministry of the Environment and Spatial Planning, in the completion of the sub-legal assets arising from this law, financial and professional support for municipalities, etc. This was done in the meetings held with each of these respective institutions, the Agency for Nature Protection and the institute that functions within the ministry, civil society and other interest groups that the Law on Nature Protection engages in the preservation of nature. Also, the project had to do with the awareness of the citizens about the existence of the Law for the protection of nature, the organization of joint meetings with all these actors to see the work, commitment and contribution of each one during these two years since it came into force the law, and an evaluation report will be drafted that will be submitted to the parliamentary committee and the Government of Kosovo.

Project Title: Campaign against gun shooting at parties

The purpose of the project: This project aims to sensitize citizens about the consequences of shooting and the use of weapons in various family parties and to sensitize institutions for efficient implementation of the Criminal Code of Kosovo and the Law on Weapons.
Beneficiaries: In the framework of the project, the citizens of the region of Peja benefit. In a narrow sense, families/individuals who organize parties and different age groups (including youth) have benefited, who in most cases are or may be more inclined to use weapons at parties. Also restaurant/hotel owners and institutions that are responsible for law enforcement, as all these actors will be part of the campaign activities.
Realization of the project: The campaign is focused on raising citizens' awareness of the danger that may come to them during shootings at family parties, but also from the use of weapons. This was realized in direct meetings with citizens, institutions, and by distributing awareness materials, such as posters, leaflets, etc. Conferences for the media and public and television debates have also been organized, so that as many citizens as possible are aware of the consequences of carrying weapons without a permit, or if they shoot with weapons either at family parties or wherever the lives of citizens are violated or order is disrupted. public. The campaign has been extended to four municipalities of Pejë, Istog, Klinë and Deçan, mobilizing all actors for the prevention of shootings and increasing the cooperation of citizens with the bodies of justice: the police, and the courts as well as with the municipal institutions.

• A media conference for the presentation of the campaign by Syri i Vizioni, the police and the municipality, the presentation of their operational plan regarding the prevention of weapons in family parties.
• A regional public debate in Peja with guests from municipal and district courts and prosecutors, police station commanders, heads of municipal councils for community safety, civil society, businesses (restaurants and hotels), media, etc.
• The televised debate on "Tv Dukagjini" with the participation of civil society (Syri i Vizioni), the police and the courts, where a broad opinion was informed about the punitive measures if they possess weapons without a permit or shoot at family parties

Beneficiaries: The representatives of the Serbian community returned within the framework of the RRK II project, as well as the Albanian community as a host community, in the municipalities of Klinë, Rahovec, Obiliq and Ferizaj were involved in the project. Municipal officials of these four municipalities, including community officials and return officials, have also been direct beneficiaries of this project.
Realization of the project: The project is focused on supporting the new process - integration, to promote inter-ethnic dialogue and to improve inter-municipal cooperation, where meetings and trainings were organized on the topics of inter-ethnic relations and sustainable return to these areas. Project Title: The Kosovo Government's strategy for community inclusion: Roma, Ashkali and Egyptian in practice at the local level through the active participation of citizens

The purpose of the project: This project aims to empower and mobilize the Roma, Egyptian and Ashkali community to ensure that the provisions contained in the 2007 Strategy of the Government of Kosovo for the inclusion of the RAE community are put into practice at the municipal level.
Beneficiaries: Representatives of the communities of the neighborhoods and villages of the municipalities of Pejë, Klinë, Istog, Deçan, Gjakovë and Rahovec, were directly involved in the implementation of joint initiatives which are supported by small grants within the project. Municipal officials from the Office of Communities and the Office for Return, as well as various groups and organizations of the communities, who have also won grande for their initiatives during this year, have also been direct beneficiaries. At the same time, the beneficiaries of this project were also a group of students from the municipality of Gjakova who were part of the test class in the Romani language.
Realization of the project:

The purpose of the project: This project aims to increase the awareness of citizens and institutions in relation to urban mobility
Beneficiaries: Direct beneficiaries are the municipalities and the Ministry that collect the information they need related to spatial planning, and receive the suggestions and ideas of experts related to urban mobility; organizations and activists dealing with the environment and urbanism; and finally the citizens of Peja through the promotion of the campaign for the use of bicycles and parking lots in order to ease urban traffic.
Realization of the project: The project is a continuation of the MOBKOS 1 project, while at this stage Eye of Vision has the role of the program secretariat, to maintain contacts with partners and beneficiaries. Part of the work has been the creation and maintenance of a website called MOBKOS, which serves as a national platform for urban mobility in Kosovo and articles, studies and opinions related to urban mobility in Kosovo have been published in it. The responsibility of SiV has also been holding national conferences on urban mobility, carrying out campaigns for parking lots and raising awareness among the population about the development of urban mobility.
