With representatives of 13 villages in the area of ​​Rugova, municipal officials and non-governmental associations, a meeting was held regarding the drafting of the new law on forests. The draft of the new law on forests was presented to the leaders of the villages, the work that has been done and discussed about the problem of forests and the involvement of the community in the design of management plans for forests. From the meeting, recommendations were made regarding the content of the draft, which after being processed by legal experts and forest experts, will take the appropriate form to be submitted to the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry and the Parliament of Kosovo to be included in the final form of the law.
