Pejë, December 8, 2020 – The Eye of Vision organization, within the project “Alliance for Active Citizens and Responsible Municipalities”, is developing the awareness campaign against violence against women and girls, as part of the global campaign “16 Days of Activation”.

The project aims to activate citizens at the local level to influence the development of community capacities, organize themselves to improve their lives and be an integral part of decision-making at this level of government.

The project also aims to create official mechanisms for increasing accountability and transparency of institutions. In this framework, the awareness campaign against violence against women and girls is also being developed. The activities are being carried out as part of the global campaign “16 Days of Activation”, through several silhouettes placed in the center of the city of Peja with orders against violence.

This campaign aims to raise the awareness of citizens to see violence as an unacceptable phenomenon in society and to report cases of violence to the responsible institutions, especially domestic violence, where women and girls experience it.
