Gjakovë: The Eye of Vision organization in cooperation with the “Kadri Kusari” High School of Economics in Gjakovë organize the “Open Door Days” which will be held from May 26 to 28, 2021. This activity aims to get to know of parents, ninth graders, co-workers, businesses and anyone else who is interested in the school, its facilities, activities, directions as well as the employment and career development opportunities it offers to young students.

Meanwhile, today, May 25, in the presence of the Ministry of Education, the Directorate of Education and many collaborators of this school, the inauguration of the Career Center and the Kitchen Cabinet was held, which were supported by the SEED Phase III project, which is implemented by the organizations Volkshilfe Solidarity and Eye of Vision with funding from the Austrian Development Agency – ADA.

The new spaces inaugurated today will be an important support which will affect the professional development of both students and teachers of the school. The kitchen cabinet and the restaurant hall will enable students and teachers to carry out practical work within the school premises. This will have an impact on raising the skills of hotel and tourism management students and on the preparation of much-needed professional staff for this sector.

On the other hand, the Career Center will provide support to the school in the career orientation of students by offering advice about the most sought-after professions as well as advising them on the use of their potential to achieve their career aspirations. This Center will cooperate with businesses by concluding agreements for practical work and opening new profiles according to the requirements of the labor market. She will also promote the school in fairs, social networks, primary schools, various activities as well as track/accompany the students even after completing their secondary education.

Use the “Open Days” as an opportunity to get to know the “Kadri Kusari” school better.
