Peja, March 22- The first meeting of the local coordinating group for counseling and career guidance was held in the municipality of Peja. Representatives of the municipality, primary/lower secondary schools, directors, career orientation teachers and students have discussed the coordination of activities for the development of career services in this municipality.
The ProKarriera project implemented by Syri i Vizioni with financial support from Solidar Suisse, during 2018 is engaged in the involvement of parents in career-related programs, so that they can be the best supporters for their children in the countries their education and career.
In cooperation with MEST and other important projects in Kosovo, the ProKArreira project is part of the pilot group of the Strategy for the involvement of parents in lower secondary schools in career guidance and counseling in Kosovo.
The local coordinating group is chaired by the director of DKA and coordinates the activities at the municipal level. The priorities set in this working group are those related to the organization of training for teachers for career guidance, holding meetings with parents and preparing promotional materials, all of which will begin and develop during April 2018.
