The justice bodies instruct citizens and parties that they will have zero tolerance for law breakers during the elections

Pejë, October 17- In Pejë, the round table “Justice in the elections of November 3” was held, organized by the Kosovo Institute for Justice in cooperation with the State Prosecutor’s Office, the Kosovo Police, the Central Election Commission and the Eye of Vision Organization.
The purpose of this roundtable was the readiness and cooperation of all justice institutions to act together against all those who commit criminal offenses during and after the voting day.
Also, those present at this table were informed about the Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and the readiness of the State Prosecutor and the Kosovo Police to implement them.
Representatives from the State Prosecutor’s Office, those from the municipal prosecutor’s office and the Kosovo Police have said that they will have zero tolerance for all those who commit criminal offenses during the voting, and have asked those present to order their political militants to be very careful and not to damage the voting process.
Also present at this table were representatives of the municipal prosecutor’s office, candidates for mayors from political parties, heads of election headquarters, civil society and the media.
This table is part of the series of discussion tables in the main centers of Kosovo, which take place within the project “Initiative to increase the efficiency of justice institutions for free, fair and democratic elections in Kosovo” which is supported by the British Embassy of Great in Pristina.
