February 25- The Eye of Vision organization continues its activities and programs in strengthening Active Citizenship, making citizens play an important role in public life and in decision-making, influencing the policies of institutions, whether local or central, to be oriented in the problems of citizens by creating better living conditions for them.
Following numerous meetings with citizens, especially in rural areas, the next meeting was with the leaders of the local community of Raushiq, this community consisting of the villages of Loxhe, Zllopek, Raushiq, Lubeniq and Bellopoje and Zagerme. In this meeting, the leaders of these villages have expressed their willingness to cooperate and have welcomed the Eye of Vision project, since according to them they need support from anyone to address their problems with the institutions and improve living conditions. of residents in these villages.
The leaders of these villages have expressed that they are faced with various problems, such as lack of drinking water, sewage, weak electrical network, which often endangers the lives of the residents of these villages and many other problems. They have expressed the belief that with the greatest commitment and work from them, and with the support of Syri i Vizioni, they will manage to address their problems for treatment by the institutions and a part of them will be resolved during this year.
Eye of Vision, in addition to working in the community in the structuring of local communities or local councils, as provided by law and municipal regulations for the cooperation of the municipality with villages and urban neighborhoods, special importance will also be given to the implementation of these legal assets on the part of local institutions, especially in the municipalities of Pejë, Klinë, Istog, Deçan and Rahovec.
This is the second year that the Eye of Vision organization is working on the development and empowerment of Active Citizenship, thanks to the continuous support of the Swedish organization Olof Palme International Center.
