Pejë, February 23- Syri i Vizioni held the seventh training within the School of Entrepreneurship with the topic of Networking and Communication of women in the workplace. The workshop was developed with the engagement of trainer Evis Pano from Tirana, expert in communication and networking. The group of over 20 women from business, politics and civil society participating in this workshop have been following training for seven months aimed at raising their capacities and empowering them to be an active voice of women’s representation in the municipalities of Pejë, Istog, Deçan and Junic.
The entrepreneurship school functions as part of the Women’s Support Project that Syri i Vizioni is implementing with financial support from USAID/ATRC. In the previous workshops, trainings were attended for drafting grants in Kosovo, proactive governance, communication, entrepreneurship and innovation, etc.
The Women’s Support Project also supports women assemblymen in the above four municipalities in raising their capacities by also providing technical support in changing local legislation.
