Pristina, December 13-26 – The National Group for Monitoring Children’s Rights “Respect Our Rights” (ROR) – led by children held a meeting with the Ombudsman Mr. Hilmi Jashari and officials from the offices of the Ombudsman Institute (IAP)
\nThe purpose of the meeting was to discuss the activities carried out by the ROR group during this year and the work of the offices of the People’s Advocate Institution within the framework of human rights, with special emphasis on children’s rights, as well as the continuation of close cooperation between the ROR and IAP.
\nDuring the week, workshops were held with the central and regional officials of the ombudsman’s offices. The children’s group, together with the IAP officials, have drawn up joint annual action plans, which include the roles of the two parties in order to mutually determine the form of cooperation to further promote children’s rights by strengthening children’s participation.
\nThe children’s monitoring group was established by the non-governmental organization “Syri i Vizioni” and “Save the Children” within the program “Governance with children’s rights – Monitoring of the Convention on Children’s Rights”.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
