Research on hosting and tourism businesses in Pejë

Pejë, 26 December- A research carried out with Pejë hosting and tourism businesses was published in a meeting held in this town. Representatives of the Directorate of Education, Secondary Economic School “Ali Hadri”, Regional Employment Office, Pejë businesses and civil society discussed the research findings and gave their recommendations for improvement of the professional practice for students attending these two courses.
Participants of the discussion said that lot more needs to be done to improve cooperation between the schools and businesses, since, according to the research; the vast majority of businesses are interested to engage student interns.
The research was carried out by the service enterprise “Human Relations and Organizational Development – HROD,” which was engaged by “Syri i Vizionit” under the auspices of “Mismatch” project. This project aims to offer a real picture to the Economic School about situation in this sector and the needs and interests that businesses have, in order for the School to use the research and improve the professional practice of its students.
