Public consultation on Open Government Partnership

Peja, 12 March- Governmental Organization ‘’ Eye of Vision’’  in collaboration with FOL movement as members of the Coordination Group for Kosovo’s membership in international organization Open Government Partnership held a public consolation in municipality of Peja to prepare the National Plan of Action 2014-2016.
Present in this public consolation were the president of the Municipal Assembly of Peja with some councils, Chamber of Commerce, representatives from civil society and the media. In this public consultation has been said that they should focus attention on improving many of the employments reforms in each sector, education, health, administration, etc, as well as in the field of public procurement, and is required to initiate change supplement for Local Government Law and procurement law.
With the completion of these two laws functional and professional reforms will be created in each sector and this will increase the transparency and accountability of public institutions, increased activity of the anti-corruption and the use of technology for improvement of public services.
This campaign of public consultations will continue in other municipalities in Kosovo in order to involve all stakeholders interested in this process and also a summary of concrete proposition activities to be included in the National Action Plan of the Republic of Kosovo.
