Pejë, 02 June – Yesterday, within the framework of the Mismatch project, a meeting was held with the leaders of the education directorates in the municipalities of the region of Pejë, in which the progress of the implementation of career counseling was discussed in the schools of the municipalities of the region: Pejës, Deçan, Istog , Gjakovë, Junik and Klinë.
In these municipalities Syri i Vizoni, with the support of Solidar Suisse, in the past three years has trained and licensed teachers for counseling and career guidance, which they have started implementing in the schools of the municipalities. Together with the directors of education, the concrete steps of information, advocacy and lobbying regarding counseling and career guidance were discussed, as well as the possibility of drafting a standardized personal curriculum for the degree, as well as the involvement of other actors in this process and the planning of activities in the following period.
The municipal directorates have agreed on the drafting of the supporting letter for the drafting of the annual plans, as one of the difficulties identified during the monitoring of the implementation of the subject in schools.
