Save the Children Board impressed with the work of the Children’s Monitoring Group – ROR

Mitrovica, March 16- During their visit to Kosovo, the board of Save the Children from Sweden held a meeting with the children of the ROR and Eye of Vision monitoring group, to inform them of the work that has been done during the past year.
In this joint meeting held in Mitrovica, the children presented the work done during the past year and their work strategy for this year and in the future. The work of the Eye of Vision organization that it does with the children of the monitoring group – ROR in the field of monitoring their rights, child protection and the work that will be done this year with the children’s assemblies in partnership with Save was also presented. the Children, office in Kosovo.

In addition to the presentation of the work that has been done and will continue to be done during this year, various experiences were also exchanged regarding the monitoring of children’s rights by the children themselves and the advocacy that they do to improve their position in the countries of around the world, where Save the Children also operates.

The representatives of the Board of Save the Children in Sweden have said that they are impressed with the work being done in Kosovo regarding the monitoring of children’s rights by the children of the ROR group themselves, and with the work that Syri i Vizioni is doing in partnership with Save the Children – office in Kosovo, in strengthening the ROR group, in the field of child protection and their involvement in decision-making.

This meeting was organized within the program “Governance with children’s rights – Monitoring of the international convention on children’s rights” implemented by Syri i Vizioni in partnership with Save the Children, office in Kosovo.
