Pejë – September 25, 2013 Syri i Vizioni in cooperation with the organization FIQ and INDEP have organized the table “Return to the homeland – Policies of socio-economic integration of repatriated persons”

At this table, a document-analysis of policies entitled “Return to the homeland – Policies of socio-economic integration of repatriated persons” was published, the purpose of which is to look at the legal aspects and the implementation of strategic documents and policies that regulate – socio-economic integration of repatriated persons. The analysis addresses the progress achieved in this area and identifies the main challenges of implementing local repatriation policies. This paper is focused on the analysis of the following areas: the process of decentralization, the signing of bilateral agreements, the connection with the visa liberalization process, the effect of assistance packages and the inter-institutional functioning of this process.

During this round table, it was assessed that the central and local institutions have well regulated the field of laws, regulations and strategies for the integration and support of repatriated persons, but the main problem for them remains employment and the creation of sustainable business plans for them, which would enable you to generate income.
