The non-governmental organization “Syri i Vizioni” has held a meeting with the topic “Issues of professional practice in the hotel and tourism sector in the Municipality of Peja”. In this meeting, representatives of the “Ali Hadri” Economic High School in Peja, teachers of hotel and tourism subjects, discussed with municipal officials, business, trade unions, associations that deal with tourism, civil society, the regional employment office, etc. for the best possible coordination of professional practice for hotel and tourism students.
The meeting is part of the activities of the “Mismatch” project, which is being carried out by the NGO “Syri i Vizioni” from Peja, supported by Solidar Suisse within the “Youth and employment” program.
During the meeting, several recommendations were issued and responsibilities were divided for the continuation of the project with the completion of the appropriate documentation for professional practice in the areas of hotel and tourism, the increase of cooperation between the school and businesses, the awareness of students about the importance and capacities of the school and for the realization of a joint project.
