Name of the contract: Supply and assembly of kitchen equipment, in order to carry out professional practice in hotel management and tourism in 3 secondary economic schools in the municipalities of Peja, Gjakova and Prizren

1. The organization “Syri i Vizioni” and Volkshilfe Solidaritat are implementing the program “Support for the Development of Education and Employment – SEED third phase” which is financially supported by the Austrian Development Agency ADA, and aims to contribute to the development strategic labor market, a contribution to poverty reduction and gender equality and focuses on fostering sustainable partnerships that lead to the creation of an active labor market framework at the local level and access to formal employment. A special attention has been given to young people and women through: employment support, facilitation between the public and private sector, strengthening of partner organizations, expertise and knowledge transfer, promotion of employment or self-employment.
In the framework of this cooperation, the creation/equipment of 3 kitchen cabinets will be made in 3 economic vocational secondary schools in the municipalities of Peja, Gjakova and Prizren, respectively in the economic secondary school “Ali Hadri” Pejë, the economic secondary school “Kadri Kusari” Gjakovë and “Ymer Prizreni” Vocational Economic High School Prizren.
With the creation of kitchen cabinets within the above-mentioned schools, suitable conditions are created for the realization of theoretical and practical learning in hotel and tourism subjects for students.

Description of works/supplies:
The offer provides for the supply and assembly of kitchen equipment according to the measurements and drawings provided for the secondary economic schools: “Ali Hadri” in Pejë, “Kadri Kusari” in Gjakovë and “Ymer Prizreni” Prizren. With the creation of kitchen cabinets, suitable conditions are created for hotel management and tourism students who, in addition to theoretical learning in the classroom, also develop practical learning in the kitchen, thus being better prepared for practical work and employment in businesses.

2. The minimum criteria for qualification of bidders are:
• Evidence of the performance of similar works;
• Legal registration of the firm by local authorities

3. Interested bidders who meet the minimum criteria for qualification mentioned above are invited to apply with their bids by completing the attached bid where the detailed technical specification is mentioned along with other terms and conditions.
