Pejë, Gjakovë, Ferizaj, Mitrovica, November 20 – The non-governmental organization Syri i Vizioni within the international day of the Convention on the Rights of the Child, supported by Save the Children, has developed numerous activities in the primary schools “Ramiz Sadiku” and “Xhemail Kada”. in Pejë, “Zekeria Rexha” and “Mustafa Bakia” in Gjakovë, “Bedri Gjinaj” and “Andon Zako Çajupi” in Mitrovica, as well as in the elementary schools “Jeronim De Rada” and “Tefik Çanga” in Ferizaj.
The group of children as young trainers have held lectures on the convention on children’s rights for their peers in all classes VI-IX, making the children aware of the rights guaranteed to them by the international convention. In addition to the lectures in the classroom, the children also distributed the brochure with the content of the convention to all the children.
This activity was carried out in the framework of the project “Together 4 children rights- Child protection and Child Right Governance” that the Eye of Vision organization supported by Save the Children is carrying out in several municipalities of Kosovo, which aims to protect children and strengthen the mechanisms for children’s rights.
