The representatives of the NGO Syri i Vizioni (SiV) held a meeting with the executive of the Peja General Hospital. On this occasion, the representatives of the two institutions signed the Partnership Agreement for the implementation of the project “Development and implementation of international standards for nutrition and improvement of food safety management practices,” which is implemented by SiV in partnership with Peja Hospital and financial support from Humedica.

The executive director of the Hospital, Fazli Shala, Hidejete Krasniqi, director of nursing, Selmon Kelmendi, director of administration and shared services, as well as the SiV representative, Vlora Latifi – Coordinator for the organization and progress of the project, were present at the meeting.

This project aims to improve the delivery of health care services by implementing and developing nutrition standards through on-the-job training and carrying out complementary activities to improve the skills of hospital staff through personalized skills training and educational seminars.

The meeting also created a list of the names of the Project Steering Group, which will consist of seven members from primary and secondary health institutions, the patient association and the project implementer, who will aim to develop and supervise the project and its activities.
