January 29-30, 2011: For two days in Peja, the national debate tournament was held in the “Karl Popper” format with high school students from four municipalities of Kosovo. 22 different teams of debaters participated in the classes of the school “Lidhja e Prizren” in Peja. In the grand final held at the “Jusuf Gërvalla” cinema in Peja, the team “The Young Europeans” from Peja and “Feniks” from Ferizaj met, while the jury declared the team from Peja the winner.
The tournament is organized for the third time in Kosovo, after those held in Ferizaj and Pristina during 2010 and is part of the project that is organized in partnership with the organizations Syri i Vizionit, Lévizjes Fol, BIRN, YIHR and INPO with funding from KFOS/SOROS.
