Training on bullying and protecting children from it is held with the students of the “Ramiz Sadiku” primary school in Peja

Pejë, December 05- The next training was held with the leadership of students of classes VI, VII, VIII and IX of the primary school “Ramiz Sadiku” in Pejë. In this training, the students have learned more about the different forms of harassment that affect the normal development of children, either from their teachers, friends or family members, causing them psychological, emotional or even physical violence. . Also in this training, students have shared their different experiences either at school, outside school and in the family, showing that many times they have been a direct or indirect part of the bullying that was done to them or their classmates, from the side of the teachers, the students themselves but sometimes also of their families.
Also, the students have been informed about the existing mechanisms either inside the school or outside the school where they will be able to present the cases of harassment that are done to them or their friends during their stay at the school or even outside the school.
This training is part of the various activities that the non-governmental organization “Syri i Vizioni” supported by Save the Children International is carrying out the program for the prevention of violence and the protection of children’s rights in primary schools. The project is being carried out in Ramiz Sadiku Primary School and League of Prizren in Pejë, as well as in Mustafa Bakija and Emin Duraku Primary Schools in Gjakovë. In addition to training in various fields with students, a school code of conduct has also been drawn up. At the end of the program, schools will be supported with a symbolic grant aimed at improving the freedoms and rights of children in these schools.
