October 27-28, 2012 – Syri i Vizioni and Solidar Suisse have organized the regional conference with youth organizations from Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia and Kosovo, partners in the projects supported by the Swiss organization Solidar. The first day of the conference was held in Pristina, where the organizations from these countries presented their one-year work which they implemented in their countries, in projects related to the free labor market, the training of young people for the labor market, etc.
On the second day, the organizations stayed in Prizren, where they met with representatives of trade unions, representatives from the Office of Employment and Professional Training, representatives from the Directorate of Education, as well as various local organizations. During the meeting, they talked about the role and difficulties that unions have, as well as the training of young people for the free labor market and the role of institutions in this matter.
The regional conference for the exchange of experiences between youth organizations has been supported by Solidar Suisse, since this year for the third year that it supports these organizations with various projects.
