Gjakovë, 22 June- The certification ceremony of the first 13 teachers for career counseling, trained during the implementation of the “Mismatch” project, was held in Gjakovë. After attending the trainings during the months of May and June, the teachers of this municipality have been certified, to start this school year with career counseling in the primary schools of this municipality.
In a ceremony organized by Syri i Vizioni and the Directorate of Education of the Municipality of Gjakova, together with the teachers, the principals of the lower secondary schools were also present, from which the teachers were trained, so that they were informed about the needs of the implementation of career counseling, either as a subject in itself, or as a solution, either as a module within a subject, or as a project in itself.
Syri i Vizoni trained teachers for career counseling in the municipality of Peja last year, with the financial support of Solidar Suisse, while this year it continued with two new municipalities, Gjakova and Istogu. The Mismatch project aims to adapt education to the labor market and create a connection between schools and business, in order to improve the professional practice of students.
