Pejë, December 18 – The active citizenship project implemented by the non-governmental organization “Syri i Vizioni” from Pejë, has closed the activities of a year with a closing activity in which active participants from the municipalities of Pejë, Istog, Klinë, Deçan and Rahovec have concluded the achievements of a project that has been developing for four years in this region.
The representatives of the offices for gender equality in the municipalities where the project was implemented, as well as the women assemblymen of these same municipalities, have sought ways of cooperation in the future with the aim of the widest possible engagement of women and the encouragement of active citizens in decision-making processes. This was a thank-you meeting for the joint work, in which the report of the four-year joint work within the project on the development of active citizenship in Kosovo was distributed.

The “Active Citizenship” program, which has been implemented for several years now by the NGO “Syri i Vizioni” is developed with the support of the Olof Palme International Center and SIDA.
