Istog July 2 – In a ceremony held in Istog, 12 teachers of this municipality were certified to teach career counseling in their schools. During the months of May and June, their training was held based on the European Program of five steps.

The ceremony was attended by officials from the Municipality of Istog, the Directorate of Education, certified teachers and principals of lower secondary schools, in which career counseling is expected to be applied, with whom it was also discussed how to enter the school programs this subject in September next year. It was estimated that this will be a help for the students of classes IX, to know their abilities and tendencies, in order to make the right decisions for enrollment in secondary education, which is the first step and many times decisive for the career. The application of career counseling in the Municipality of Istog is done through the “Mismatch” project, which Eye of Vision realizes with funding from Solidar Suisse, and with the support of the Municipality of Istog. Previously, teachers were trained and licensed in the municipality of Peja and Gjakova, who have already started to apply it in their schools. This is part of a project that aims to help students adapt to the labor market and helps schools to provide the best possible internship for students, which will help them find themselves in the job market after graduation of schooling.
