September 11- Since a month ago, the campaign “What is your hope for 2030?” has been held in Kosovo. – Race for survival”. Hundreds of children and young people from Kosovo have filled out the form published on the Respect Our Right-ROR website and have directly expressed their hopes and concerns for themselves, the country and the world. While others have also expressed themselves through questionnaires that ROR activists have filled in the streets of Pristina and other cities of Kosovo.
“We want the children of Kosovo to grow up in good economic conditions, that their parents or guardians are employed so that the family enjoys prosperity and that no child is hungry”, was the most voted message from the children of Kosovo.
Children from all over the world participate this year in the race for survival, organized in different ways, asking decision-makers to show a strong commitment to end preventable child deaths. By clicking and placing their hopes and expectations in this, the children of Kosovo have been included in the calls from children around the world, which will be presented to world leaders during the UN General Assembly, which will be held in September 2015.
The hopes of the children of Kosovo until 2030, listed according to what they themselves have written, have been submitted to the Ombudsman today with the aim of joint advocacy with local institutions for their realization.
The children of the ROR group, founded by the non-governmental organization Syri i Vizioni and Save the Children, informed Mr. Jashari that the hopes and recommendations until 2030 also from the children of Kosovo will be made together with the calls of children from all over the world and will be presented to world leaders during the General Assembly of the United Nations Organization, on September 25, 2015.
