The children of the “Ismail Qemali” school and the teachers are trained on violence and its forms

Prishtina May 21 – The Non-Governmental Organization “Syri i Vizioni” has held training for the prevention of violence in schools, with the theme “Violence and its forms”, with students and teachers of Ismail Qemali primary and lower secondary school in Prishtina.

The children who were part of this training did not have a lot of knowledge about violence, its types and the forms of how it appears in school and about the ways of prevention, which affect the creation of a safe environment in their school. However, they shared different examples of violence that happened in their school among their peers, and in some cases even teachers towards them, where some of them were also victims of violence.
The purpose of this training is to create a safer environment for the children who attend this school, helping them to raise awareness about violence and its forms, as well as preventing this phenomenon in their school.
