Pejë, November 19, 2024 – At the primary and lower secondary school “Smajl Hajdaraj” a training with parents on the “Safe Families Approach” has begun, which provides parents with valuable skills and knowledge to create a safer and more supportive family environment.
The first session “Dreams for the Family & Self-Care for Caregivers” aims for parents and caregivers to understand the full scope of Safe Families, to have a long-term vision of the type of caregiver they want to be and to identify coping techniques for managing the stress and worries they may experience while caring for their children.
The second session will be “The Right to Be Safe”, to continue with the other eight sessions, which are being implemented within the framework of the thematic program for the protection and rights of the child “Our Duty for the Future – Child Protection and Child Rights Governance” for the Strengthening of Civil Society by Syri i Vizionit Organizations in partnership with Save the Children Kosova/o, funded by the Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency – Sida.
