Novoselle/Pejë, 05.06.2024- Syri i Vizioni in cooperation with the Municipality of Pejë has opened the Day Care Center for the Elderly in the village of Novoselle. This center is an important step towards promoting the elderly’s participation in daily activities and their community care. This ceremony was an occasion to celebrate the beginning of an important journey towards establishing an encouraging and supportive environment for the elderly in our community.
The social activities that will be organized in this center will provide support for the elderly to be active, develop new social connections and maintain activities useful for their cognitive abilities. The opening of the center was realized within the program “Building friendly communities for the elderly through intergenerational action in Kosovo – AGE+” which is financed by Volkshilfe Solidarit and the Austrian Development Agency and implemented by the Eye of Vision organization.
