Pejë December 23, 2014 – In Pejë, the third workshop was held with actors in the field of education and tourism, in which cooperation between schools, business and the municipality was discussed in the improvement of professional training practices in the areas of hospitality and tourism.
Participants in the meeting: High School of Economics – Hospitality and Tourism management, institutions and businesses, have analyzed the actors in the tourism sector, the possibilities of creating a common vision in terms of communication and cooperation between them. They have requested the creation of a system of cooperation, which will enable the successful development of professional practice for students in these directions, in which the role of business is important, but also for the opportunities for business to influence education, including the change of curricula and the design of new programs according to the needs of the market, the continuous training of the teaching staff, as well as the inclusion of farms in the tourism sector.
With this workshop, their third phase was completed, where such workshops were also held in the municipality of Gjakova and Prizren. These workshops are held by Eye of the Vision and Solidar Suisse in partnership with Volkshilfe Österreich, and take place within the framework of the SEED program “Support for the Development of Education and Employment”, which is funded by the AustrianDevelopment Cooperation.
