CALL FOR APPLICATIONS

Local Economic Development Grant

Syri Vizionit (SiV) and the Municipality of Istog (KI) distribute grants to support the local economic development of Istog. Grants are allocated within the framework of the “Development of Istog” project, this project is implemented by SiV/KI and supported and managed by the Office of the European Union in Kosovo. The project aims to strengthen and promote the local economic development of Istog with a focus on the growth and development of competition and the growth of the potentials of local businesses and organizations, with an emphasis on the generation of employment and local economic growth.

Grants will be allocated in the following thematic areas:

· Equipment for processing (processing),

· Improvement of product quality,

· Improvement of packaging and labeling,

· Marketing and Promotion of Local Products/Services,

· Business plans,

· Generation of new jobs,

· Productivity increase,

· Improving the operations of businesses and organizations, and

· Raising human capacities.

The maximum amount for grants is 3,500 EURO. Private businesses, non-governmental organizations, as well as business and farmer associations, which are registered and operate in Istog, are eligible to apply. The application form and the guide can be downloaded from the SiV website (www.syriivizionit.org), received at the SiV offices in Peja and in the Municipality of Istog at office 212. The application form and the attached documents must be submitted to Municipality of Istog, office 212; or at Syri i Vizioni in Peja, or by email: info@syriivizionit.org until November 6, 2015 at 3:00 p.m.

The informative session will be held on October 16 at 1:00 pm at the “Trout” Restaurant in Istog. All potential applicants are encouraged to attend.
