Call for applications 2018
The SEED program supported by ADA “Austrian Development Agency” is implemented in three countries in Kosovo, Albania and Serbia and aims to improve the access of young people and women to the labor market as well as contribute to gender equality by supporting positive social-economic developments . The three-year program in Kosovo is carried out by the organization “Syri i Vizionit” and Volkshilfe Solidarität, which focuses on the creation of cooperation between vocational high schools in Pejë, Gjakovë and Prizren – the direction of Tourism and Hospitality with businesses active in these municipalities.
This call is made by “SEED second phase Kosovo – Support for the Development of Education and Employment in Kosovo”, a project supported by the Austrian Development Agency implemented by the NGO Syri i Vizioni and Volkshilfe Solidarität. The aim of this call is to improve the quality of education in terms of business orientation and/or reducing obstacles for women’s careers in the sector.
The second phase of the SEED project in Kosovo started in January 2017 and it includes a wide range of activities that will be implemented in a period of three years.
The present call contains three parts. Proposals within this call can be submitted in the following three areas:
Part 1: Development of a system for updating the curricula of secondary vocational schools – hotel management and tourism (HT) according to market needs
Part 2: Development of an effective system of professional practices so that secondary school students – HT direction are equipped with practical skills
Part 3: Increasing the number of women in the hospitality and tourism sector in the area involved
The total indicative amount made available under this call for proposals is 43,000.00 Euro. The Contracting Authority reserves the right not to award all funds made available.
Any grant requested under this call for proposals must fall between the following [minimum and] maximum amounts:
• minimum amount: 2,000.00 Euro
• maximum amount: 5,000.00 Euro
Applicants may submit more than one application per lot. The applicant may not be awarded more than 1 grant per part under this Call for Proposals.
