In the framework of the project “Support for the Integration and Empowerment of Roma, Egyptian and Ashkali returnees through Capacity Development in Basic Education, Kosovo”, which is supported by GIZ – the German Agency for International Cooperation and implemented by “Syri i Vizioni”, there completed the renovation of 6 classrooms in 6 primary schools of the municipalities of Peja, Klina and Istog.

In these classrooms, which have been renovated and equipped with the necessary didactic tools, a suitable environment is provided for the realization of supplementary learning with a group of students from the lower and upper cycle of these schools. Supplementary education aims to help these students in better understanding certain subjects, especially in the Albanian language and mathematics, as well as in subjects related to art, creativity and mutual interaction, and that the final goal is to increase their overall results in the regular learning process.

Three educators-tutors assigned to each school and who are trained in the field of “Step by Step” education, will help the students in doing their homework from the relevant subjects, in solving the various difficulties that the students may have they come across during learning at school as well as in their motivation about the importance of studying, interacting with friends at school and integration in general.
