Distribution of certificates for the participants of the Capacity Building Program

Istog, January 29- Eye of Vision within the Project for the Development of Istog, which is financed by the European Union Office in Kosovo and implemented by Eye of Vision in cooperation with the Municipality of Istog, has certified 34 participants of the Capacity Building Program. The program was aimed at raising and developing the skills of stakeholders for the development of Istog: Municipal Officials, Businesses and Non-Governmental Organizations.

As part of the program, three modules have been developed with different topics: Development of strategic skills for raising the capacities of businesses; Grants and opportunities in Kosovo, as well as Business/Organization Empowerment in Istog. The trainings took place during 2015.

The participants in these trainings had the opportunity to receive knowledge and experience from various professionals and experts, transferring them to the work and efficiency of the Municipality of Istog. this project is important and offers new opportunities for Istog. Raising the capacities of shareholders directly affects the development of Istog, strengthens and supports the private sector, municipal officials and civil society.

The official of the non-governmental organization Syri i Vizioni, Mr. Abedin Imami thanked all the participants. He emphasizes that “we have tried to choose professional trainers and experts in the fields to raise the skills of the development agents of Istog”. He also emphasized that “the interest and interactive participation of the main actors of Istog makes this program even more successful”. .

The Capacity Building Program is part of the project “Support for Agro-Tourism, Business and Infrastructure in the municipality of Istog”, to increase and promote economic development and the creation of sustainable jobs for a better future. This project’s main objective is to strengthen and promote local economic development with a focus on increasing and developing competitiveness and reaching the potential of local businesses and organizations with a focus on employment generation and local economic growth.
