June 25, 26- In the framework of the project “Support for Agro-Tourism, Business and Infrastructure in the municipality of Istog” which aims to promote economic development, create stable jobs, the second workshop was held with the topic: ” The development of the development concept of tourism and agriculture for the Municipality of Istog”.

Participants in the workshop were members of agribusinesses, civil society and municipal staff (local government) of the municipality of Istog, generally members of all nationalities: Albanians, Bosnians, Serbs and Egyptians. During the workshop, they created a concept of how they see the development of tourism, which will be given to the municipality and businesses as a basis for further development.
The workshops are part of the capacity building program within the aforementioned project, which is financed by the European Commission and the Municipality of Istog. This project is being implemented by the organization “Syri i Vizioni” and aims to develop and promote agribusinesses such as orchards, livestock, beekeeping, fishing, etc. and tourism with hotel services, promotion of historical and cultural values, etc. Also, within the project, other activities will be undertaken which will improve the tourism infrastructure in Istog.
