Think Globally,
Act Locally

Pristina September 5, 6 and 7- The monitoring group for children’s rights R.O.R held the workshop for the drafting of questionnaires and the methodology of monitoring the right of children in decision-making and the right to education.
The group of children together with the professor from Albania, Prof.Dr. Aleksandër Koçani, for three consecutive days have identified the problems faced by children in Kosovo regarding their decision-making at school and family as well as the right to education.
Also, work has been done on the drafting of questionnaires that will be used to monitor children’s right to education and decision-making, where these questionnaires will be carried out with children of primary and lower secondary schools throughout Kosovo.
The children were also taught about the methodology of carrying out questionnaires in the field, where they had the opportunity to learn more about the experiences of groups of children from other countries, such as the case or the methodology of the work done by the group of children “16+” from Albania.
\”We feel neglected and we hardly ask when it comes to our participation in decision-making, both in the family and in the school,\” said the children present in this workshop.
This workshop has been organized within the program “CRG-Monitoring”, which the Eye of Vision organization in partnership and financially supported by Save the Children is implementing throughout Kosovo.
